Each Bali Necklace helps to fund Coral Reef Conservation! Learn about our efforts!
The Original Hei Matau is often gifted to bring its recipient good luck. It represents strength and safe passage over water. The fish hook shape finds its origins in Māori legend that the North Island of New Zealand was once a huge fish that was caught by the great mariner Maui, using only a woven line and a hook made from the jawbone of his grandmother.
Each Bali Necklace is hand carved on the Tropical Island of Bali and shipped from the USA. Because we repurpose 100% natural materials, there may be some slight imperfections in each piece.
Materials: Repurposed, Water-Buffalo Bone.
Pendant size: Approximately 2 inches (5 cm).

Love it and happy it’s helping restore coral reefs
Got this for my wife for Valentine's day. She loved the necklace, and then was even further impressed when she learned that her present helped plant a coral.
The necklace was very well finished and the scrimshaw work was exemplary. A+
Just a great piece of work. I wear it every day, can't wait for spring to wear it on the boat.
