Each Bali Necklace helps to fund Coral Reef Conservation!  Learn about our efforts!

Not many people love the ocean more than surfers. Some of the first known surfers date back as far as the 16th Century. Today, surfing can be found on any coast that offers a wave. Whether its paddling out in a hurricane or making it through a long work week, the Koru Surfboard was designed to represent the strength and stamina to get you through tough times.

Each Bali Necklace is hand carved on the tropical island of Bali and shipped from the USA. Because we use 100% natural materials, there may be some slight imperfections in each piece. See our workshop.

  • Materials: Repurposed, Water-Buffalo Bone.
  • Pendant size: Approximately 2.25 inches (5.7 cm).
  • Cord: One size fits all. Adjustable, bamboo cotton (choker up to 26 inches).

Mana passed on.

Ki Ora,
The sign of a Koru has several meanings.
From the South Pacific it is the sign of a man with knowledge of the sea and its occupants. There is nothing in the Sea to be afraid of, as long as it is treated with respect.
In surfing, the first lesson being to never turn your back to the sea.
A gift of the KORU is the passing of that respect for the sea.
It has the power to bring you health and good fortune.
A KORU must only be passed from one surfer to another. Usually a Kupuna Kahu (Holy Man) or "Big Kahuna" to a young and promising surfer.
Wear it with pride and respect.
Aloha Kakou,

M
